Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

This course is ideal if your Health and Safety Assessment identifies the need for Emergency First Aiders, for example within smaller or low risk organisations.

Annual Refresher

This is a half day course (4 teaching hours plus breaks) for delegates holding a current First Aid at Work qualification.

It is a refresher course and is recommended as best practice for First Aiders.

First Aid at Work Certificate (FAW)

If your Health and Safety Assessment highlights the need for one or more qualified First Aiders, this Level 3 qualification (Scotland Level 6) will ensure your chosen staff are suitably trained and confident to provide excellent First Aid in the workplace.

Emergency Paediatric First Aid

This one-day course has been designed for those who have an interest in child and infant basic life support but who are not required to have an Ofsted or Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) qualification.

External Automated Defibrillation (CPR & AED)

Heart and circulatory disease claims around 200,000 lives each year. Many could have been saved if a defibrillator was made available. Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s) are now becoming more common throughout a range of public and work places. A casualty’s survival rate will dramatically increase if an AED is available and if you have appropriately qualified personnel to use it.

Paediatric First Aid

This course has been developed for those who are working with children and infants. It will be of particular interest to teachers, child minders, crèche assistants, playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for their welfare whilst in your care.

Anaphylaxis Management and Awareness

Anaphylactic shock (Anaphylaxis) is a life-threatening allergic reaction. This can be caused by many different things including an allergen to food, insect stings or bites. If it is not treated appropriately, it may cause death. This training is for qualified First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders to enable them to recognise and treat anaphylaxis safely and effectively. (This course can be added to an EFAW and FAW course, please contact us for details)
